Ever wondered about the rich history & ancient culture of Aboriginal Australia? Curious about the land you live on & its significant connections to the indigenous people of Australia? Have you ever wanted to experience Aboriginal culture first hand?

KAI YOGA invites you to ‘Return to Country’

A guided experience around your local backyard lead by Jesse, a proud Wiradjuri fella & one of our very own KAI YOGA Teacher Training Graduates.

Based at Sandon Point, Bulli, together we will embark on a deadly walkabout facilitated by passionate Aboriginal Educators from Yindyamarra Walkabouts; an Aboriginal owned & operated outdoor education company.

Leading us through a powerful 2 hour journey of connectedness & culture with Ourselves & Country.

We will get to experience the old ways, first hand with traditional practices & customs of Aboriginal Culture through means of a Yarning Circle -  Grounding Meditation – Ochre Experience - Discovery Walk & Sacred Smoking Ceremony.

Truly a special & beautiful invitation for you & the whole family.

Don’t miss out!

Unfortunately there are limited spots available for this walkabout; Return To Country

Growing up my family believed we originated  from Spain. This came to a end in my senior years in school when mum had gone through our hidden history & uncovered we were actually Aboriginal decent from Wiradjuri Country, the largest Aboriginal Nation by size & population in Central NSW.

Since then this walkabout we call life has led me through spiritual findings of becoming a yoga teacher through Kai Yoga, Country connectedness from being a Outdoor Educator of 10 years, embodying my physical self through my Fitness Coach career and all the while building a comprehensive network of community throughout.

Yindyamarra is our highest held word in Wiradjuri meaning to be respectful, to go slowly, to be gentle, to be polite and go with honour.

Yindyamarra Walkabouts was born from me which has been the pathway for not only my cultural identity.
