ABOUT JESSE
Growing up my family believed we originated from Spain. This came to a end in my senior years in school when mum had gone through our hidden history & uncovered we were actually Aboriginal decent from Wiradjuri Country, the largest Aboriginal Nation by size & population in Central NSW.
Since then this walkabout we call life has led me through spiritual findings of becoming a yoga teacher through Kai Yoga, Country connectedness from being a Outdoor Educator of 10 years, embodying my physical self through my Fitness Coach career and all the while building a comprehensive network of community throughout.
Yindyamarra is our highest held word in Wiradjuri meaning to be respectful, to go slowly, to be gentle, to be polite and go with honour.
Yindyamarra Walkabouts was born from me which has been the pathway for not only my cultural identity.
